I work in SF but live in SLO County look forward to keeping in touch with my friends
when I'm north using your system (when repairs are cmplet on TASS), thank you and
complements on the smooth operating WEB site.
The United Radio Amateur Club of Los Angeles Harbor K6AA appreciates the use of the
WA6TMJ repeater for our radio club activities. It makes it possible for most of our
members to paticipate in our URAC net. 73, Elvin Lytle, net control.
Just moved and now eager to get back on air. Work the UHF and VHF bands. Looking for
other hams in area (Paso Robles) that can help with an antenna raising party in the next
month. Thanks for the nice site.
Enjoing your web site. Very informative, looking for info on using 220. Great site keep
up the good work. Thank you for your time and effort in keeping this site up. John Rogers
President ARALB/W6RO
My first real introduction to 220 Mhz was in December 1998. N6RBR and I were on top of
Palos Verdes waiting for a missile launch. I watched him use his 220 HT to talk to hams up
in Lompoc. Well, I just bought my first 220 rig and I hope to talk to you guys soon.
Hello Lon, Nice site! Keep up the good work. Glad that we were able to hook up on 40M.
Will keep in touch with you. If you're up this way, give a call...
Say hi to the gang in Lompoc. I lived in Vandenberg Village with my 2 sons Chris and
Steve and XYL Ellie. Ellie passed away in April 1992. Great web site. Check spelling of
PROPAGATION. 73, EX-w6thc
The "old" W6LIO repeater, now the WA6VPL repeater has been used by me for
years. I can "hit it" from the OES in Salinas. We will be using it on 4/4/00 for
the "17th Annual State Wide Earthquake Drill" as an ARES link into the
Parkfield, CA area. The USGS has multiple seismic activity there. Also our Monterey County
Operational AREA OES has just completed the "Parkfiel Earthquake Response Plan,"
so we're going to try it out, communications wise. Thanks for what you ALL do. 73's Bob
This site compares well with others of a similar nature, ie GORILLA.ORG AND CARUN.ORG.
Keep up the good work and like others I am interested in any links across the South, in
particular into New Mexico and Arizona. Please e-mail me with any such links. 73s Steve,
KF6 WAX
Heard you on 40meters , I did now break in I hope to be in LA. in july on a train and
will have a hand held 2Meter. we will check out the page and report back.. Scotty wa6jyg

Evening Lon! Checked out the audio links. RAVE2 sure seems to be a much better option.
One other note; Several of the audio links are dead - but I know it can be a headache
keeping the page updated! Keep up the good work, it's a great system! Gary Hill
Looks like you guys have quite a system. I had an E Mail from Lon tonight and was given
this site to look at. Great Work Guys, I know the feeling of running up and down these
hills. 73's, Alan
Ive just gotten back into ham radio after a 20 year side track, I think your link
system is really neat. I have this thought that maybe every one has considered already but
here goes anyway: Have you considered linking through the internet? If a common protocol
was used any two repeaters in the world could be linked on touch tone command for only the
cost of a monthly internet connection.
Hi Folks!! Good to see the 223.78 box is still goin on strong. Has come along way since
we used to used it out of the garage way back when....73 DE KJ7XJ (N6PPS/KB6MND)Eric
Wonderful system for me as I live on the Catalina side of Rancho Palos Verdes, without
it I am unable to talk to Orange County, or the other side of the hill from home ,Thank
you to WA6TMJ for his comments to me at work about using the system as much as I would
like, and his words of encouragement about the system !!!
Hello all...I enjoy this site very much. The WALA group sets some very good standards for others to
follow. Courteous, and intelligent. A great group of folks. 73 de Billy, N6YW

My 1.2Ghz repeater is approx. 35 miles from the 440.75 in Berkeley. My system has excellent coverage into west Contra Costa County. I have a Link-Comm 440 steerable remote attached to my system. I also am capable of linking to other repeater systems via VOIP. If you'd like to consider linking to JKV again, this might be a practical alternative. E-mail me if your interested.

The first flicker of information on IRLP came today - I had never heared of it, so I logged on to Live Node 365 and I am greatly interested, I think however that I will have a problem getting Lompoc and I don't have 440 so I'll just keep an eye on developements and wish all the best of luck to the mode and method.

Hi Guys,
I'm the Rptr Officer for the local Club here in Wollongong NSW, so always like checking out other Rptr installations. It looks like you have a great network of Rptrs to be proud of. The map & pictures were also great, but it would be nice to have a bit more specific info attached to the pix as to who or what we are looking at. Also you have a nice selection of pix from Mt Williams, but what part of your Network does it service & where abouts are your antennas on the pictured towers.
For your interest, we have three 2m & two 70cm Voice Rptrs, three 2m Packet Digis & one APRS Digi. Also all the VHF Rptrs are linked together, covering from Sydney down the coast to the Victorian border. These Rptrs are also on IRLP Node 601. One of the UHF Rptrs is connected to other UHF Rptrs (via "Eastlink") to Sydney, Goulburn, Canberra & Wagga thus covering the SE section of NSW.
And hopefully in the next week we will be placing a 6m Rptr on the air on 53.650MHz (-)1MHz split.
Good work & catchulater...

Very Interesting! Just got back into hobby (my Novice expired around '85)and passed General. Bought a VX-150 2m HT and am looking for base station. I found 145.380 by accident and will be monitoring in the future as I learn more about this activity. Thanks!

Web site's not bad. I learned about it while listening in on an IRLP QSO. I'm very interested in IRLP, and looking for a club.
